Temper Rolled Strip
Temper rolled strip, available in coil or narrow strip form, undergoes a controlled rolling process that alters its crystalline structure, resulting in enhanced mechanical properties for improved strength and performance.
Grades
Type 301 stainless steel
Designation: X10CrNi18-8 / EN 1.4310 / S30100 / AISI-301, 316 (1.4401), 316L (1.4404), 304 (1.4301), 304L (1.4307), 430 (1.4016)
Additional grades are available upon request to meet specific customer requirements.
Type 301 is an austenitic stainless steel that provides high strength and good ductility when cold worked.
The chromium and nickel content is decreased to increase the cold work hardening rate. This generates higher tensile strength when cold rolled with a lower loss of ductility.
It is NON magnetic, however when cold worked it becomes slightly magnetic compared to other austenitic stainless steels.
