Reagents, strippers, passivating agents and cleaners

These are chemicals that are used to initiate, accelerate or control a specific chemical reaction (e.g. 316L quality check with a Molybdenum activation reagent).

Paint stripper

These are chemicals used to remove rust, scale, corrosion or other contaminants from metal surfaces.

Cleaner

Surface rusty areas are symptoms of contamination.
This product is especially indicated for cleaning and restoration of the surface, whatever the surface is. your type of finish without damaging or altering it (2B / BA / Satin / Grinded).

Passivation

It is excellent for decontaminating slightly oxidized surfaces and for stabilizing the passive layer after a pickling process.
The passivant guarantees the recovery process of the passive layer in about 3 hours.
Passivation is a natural process of stainless steel in which its “passive layer” (chromium oxide) is renewed.

Molybdenum Reagent

Molybdenum Reagent is used on 300 series stainless steel materials to test for the presence of molybdenum and therefore differentiate 304 grade (without molybdenum) from 316 grade (with molybdenum) by a simple test.
With this simple chemical test we will be able to verify if the piece /stock material or stainless steel scrap contains molybdenum and evidence the quality in a few minutes.
